MICHELE TENZON (PhD fellow)
Michele Tenzon is PhD fellow at the Université libre de Bruxelles, Faculty of Architecture La Cambre Horta. He studied Architecture at the University of Ferrara and he holds an MA in Architectural History from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College of London.
Michele’s research interest focuses on modernist urban and regional planning. His most recent works investigate the relationship between urban form and the projects of modernization of rural landscape in post-war Italy and in North African French colonies.
His current PhD research project focuses on a series of rural development and resettlement schemes conceived and partially implemented by the architect and urban planner Michel Écochard in the French Protectorate in Morocco.
